Cures without Cloning (CWC) is leading a broad-based, statewide coalition of grassroots organizations committed to prohibiting the cloning of human beings in Missouri.
Unfortunately, human cloning experiments are allowed the State of Missouri. There is a loophole in the Missouri constitution that allows human cloning. Cures without Cloning is an organization completely committed to closing the cloning loophole and finding ethical cures and treatments for those in need.

WHY DOES MISSOURI NEED TO BAN HUMAN CLONING?
- Human Cloning is legal in Missouri. There is a loophole in the Missouri Constitution that allows human cloning experiments in our state.
- We are supporting an initiative in Missouri that prohibits ALL human cloning. This initiative will ensure that human cloning is not allowed in Missouri and that your tax dollars cannot be used to fund human cloning.
- We are supporting the human cloning prohibition initiative because:
- It prohibits human cloning in Missouri.
- It prohibits human cloning experiments in Missouri. For example, some scientists want to conduct experiments to create human beings using the same procedure that created "Dolly the Sheep."
- It prohibits any form of cloning experiments with human embryos.
- It prohibits taxpayer funding of human cloning experiments.
- It is the best way to find ethical cures and treatments. The amendment will allow medical researchers to focus more time and energy on ethical medical research that has been very promising and successful.
